Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 pound white fish fillets (such as cod or haddock), cut into sticks
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
  • 2 large eggs
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • Tartar sauce, for serving (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare a breading station with three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat each fish stick by dredging in flour, dipping in egg, and then covering with the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. Place the breaded fish sticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fish sticks are golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Serve hot with lemon wedges and tartar sauce, if desired.
