This creamy bacon pasta is a delightful comfort food that combines al dente spaghetti with a rich and savory sauce made from cream cheese, milk, and cream of chicken soup. Topped with melted mozzarella, cheddar cheese, and crispy bacon, it’s a perfect dish for family gatherings or a cozy night in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound uncooked spaghetti
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 1/2 cups milk
  • 10.5 ounces cream of chicken soup
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Cook the spaghetti al dente according to package instructions. Rinse and drain under cold water.
  2. In a large pot over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened. Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant. Reduce the heat to medium. Pour in the milk, cream of chicken soup, softened cream cheese, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the cream cheese is fully melted and the sauce is smooth.
  3. Toss the cooked spaghetti in the creamy sauce until well coated. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  4. Top the pasta with grated mozzarella cheese, grated cheddar cheese, and crumbled bacon.
  5. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. For a golden crust, broil the pasta for the last 5 minutes, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.
  6. Once baked to perfection, remove from the oven and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
