Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 12 oz fettuccine, cooked

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and black pepper until well combined. Shape into 1-inch meatballs.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add meatballs and cook, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through, about 10 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg. Cook until sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Return meatballs to the skillet with Alfredo sauce. Toss to coat and heat through for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve cooked fettuccine on plates, topped with Alfredo meatballs and sauce. Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
