  • ¼ cup flour
  • 1½ cups half and half
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs mixed with 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix all cheeses and set aside.
  3. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour until bubbly and browned.
  4. Gradually add half and half, stirring constantly until thickened.
  5. Remove from heat and season with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
  6. Stir three-quarters of the cheese mixture into the sauce until melted.
  7. Pour sauce over prepared macaroni and mix well.
  8. Spread evenly in the baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
  9. Mix breadcrumbs with melted butter and sprinkle on top.
