- 6 tbsp unsalted butter, very softened (for frosting)
- 6 oz cream cheese, cold
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tbsp vanilla extract (for frosting)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine warmed milk, yeast, and sugar; let sit until foamy.
- Mix in flour, salt, eggs, vanilla extract, and softened butter until combined.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Let it rise for approximately 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter, and sprinkle with a brown sugar-cinnamon mix.
- Roll tightly into a log and slice into 12 equal pieces.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish; pour heavy cream over them and let rise again for about an hour.
