- 4 ounces dark chocolate
- 1 cup granulated sugar

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (170°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with aluminum foil, leaving an overhang for easy removal. Grease lightly.
- Melt the butter and dark chocolate together in a saucepan over low heat until smooth. Allow to cool slightly.
- In a bowl, combine the melted mixture with granulated sugar, whisked eggs, flour, cocoa powder, and salt until just combined.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
- In another bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, evaporated milk, egg, vanilla extract, brown sugar, spices, and cornstarch until smooth.
