- 4 slices of thick bread (like sourdough)
- 4 tbsp marinara sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella
- 12 slices pepperoni
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)
Instructions
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- On the unbuttered side, spread marinara, layer cheese, pepperoni, and more cheese.
- Close sandwich with buttered sides facing out.
- Cook on a skillet over medium heat, 3–4 mins each side.
- Cover for 1–2 mins if needed to fully melt cheese.
Notes
- Swap pepperoni for veggies.
- Use garlic butter for extra flavor.
- Serve with extra sauce for dipping.
