Pizza Grilled Cheese: When Pizza Meets Melted Cheese Magic

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of thick bread (like sourdough)
  • 4 tbsp marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 12 slices pepperoni
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)

Instructions

  1. Butter one side of each bread slice.
  2. On the unbuttered side, spread marinara, layer cheese, pepperoni, and more cheese.
  3. Close sandwich with buttered sides facing out.
  4. Cook on a skillet over medium heat, 3–4 mins each side.
  5. Cover for 1–2 mins if needed to fully melt cheese.

 


Notes

  • Swap pepperoni for veggies.
  • Use garlic butter for extra flavor.
  • Serve with extra sauce for dipping.
