  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 large eggs

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

  • Mix flour, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.

  • In another bowl, cream butter and both sugars until fluffy.

  • Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla.

  • Combine dry and wet ingredients until dough forms.

  • Stir in chocolate chips.

  • Scoop dough onto baking sheets and bake for 9-11 minutes.

  • Cool slightly before serving.


Notes

Chill dough for thicker cookies! Swap chocolate chips for dark, white, or a mix.
