Ingredients

  • 8 oz penne pasta

  • 4 slices of bacon, chopped

  • 1 cup frozen peas

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 small onion, chopped

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)


Instructions

  1. Cook penne pasta in salted water according to package instructions.

  2. Cook bacon in a skillet until crispy, then set aside.

  3. Sauté garlic and onion in bacon fat.

  4. Add heavy cream to make the sauce, simmer for 3-4 minutes.

  5. Combine pasta, sauce, peas, and bacon, and toss together.

  6. Season with salt and pepper, then serve hot.
