  • 1 head green cabbage
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste
  • 2 teaspoons fennel seeds (or caraway seeds)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400˚F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice the cabbage into 1-inch thick wedges and arrange them on the baking sheet.
  3. Brush half of the olive oil, garlic paste, fennel seeds, salt, and pepper onto one side of each wedge. Flip them over and repeat.
  4. Roast for 25 minutes until golden brown on the bottom. Carefully flip the wedges and continue roasting for another 20 minutes until tender and crispy.
