- 8 rice paper sheets
- 450 grams ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- 8 slices low-fat cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 120 millilitres sliced pickles
- Sesame seeds, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and chopped onion until browned. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper; drain excess fat and let cool slightly.
- Soak rice paper sheets in warm water for 15-20 seconds until pliable but not overly soft.
- On a clean surface, lay one rice paper sheet flat. Layer with cheddar cheese, about 2-3 tablespoons of the beef mixture, lettuce, and pickles. Fold the sides inward and roll tightly; place seam-side down on prepared tray.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly before serving.
