  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 large onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large white or Savoy cabbage
  • 8 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Blanch the cabbage in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until softened. Carefully peel off leaves.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef, cooked rice, onion, garlic, egg, salt, and pepper.
  3. Sauté fresh mushrooms in butter until golden brown. Make a roux with flour, then add mushroom stock cube and sour cream to create the sauce.
  4. Fill each cabbage leaf with meat mixture and roll tightly. Place seam-side down in a casserole dish.
  5. Pour mushroom sauce over rolls and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
