- 1 ½–2 pounds chicken thighs or tenders, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 ½ teaspoon seasoning salt
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon grated parmesan
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 5 tablespoons softened butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese
- 1–2 teaspoons chili crunch (or chili crisp)
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine chicken pieces with seasoning salt, mayonnaise, garlic powder, and grated parmesan until well coated. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, parmesan cheese, chili crunch, and lemon juice until well combined to create a compound butter.
- Thread marinated chicken onto skewers and preheat your air fryer to 400ºF or prepare your grill.
- Cook the skewers in the air fryer or on the grill for about 9 minutes total (6 minutes on one side followed by flipping).
- When the chicken reaches an internal temperature of at least 150ºF, baste with garlic butter mixture and continue cooking until it reaches a safe temperature of 165ºF.
