6 cups of cubed bread (preferably stale)

4 large eggs

2 cups whole milk

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp ground cinnamon

Pinch of salt

2 tbsp butter (for greasing)
Instructions

Cube the bread and arrange in a greased baking dish.

Whisk together eggs, milk, cream, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.

Pour the custard over the bread, pressing down to ensure it’s soaked.

Cover and refrigerate overnight.

Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown.
