- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter (divided)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch pan.
- For the crumb topping, mix flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add melted butter until crumbs form.
- Cream butter and sugar for the cake. Add eggs and vanilla.
- Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and milk alternately into the wet mix.
- Pour batter into pan and top with crumb mixture.
- Bake 35-40 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
