- 1 cup crispy fried onions
Instructions
- Spray the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray.
- Layer sliced yellow onions at the bottom.
- Place chicken breasts on top of the onions.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, onion soup mix, and beef broth; whisk until smooth.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on LOW for about 5 hours.
- Add provolone cheese on top; cover and cook for an additional 10 minutes until melted.
- Sprinkle with thyme leaves and crispy fried onions; let warm uncovered for another 10 minutes before serving.
