12 oz rigatoni pasta

1 lb Italian sausage (mild or spicy)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 small onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

3 cups chicken broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions

Cook sausage in a large pot over medium heat until browned. Remove and set aside.

Sauté onions and garlic in the same pot until softened.

Add sausage, pasta, broth, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then simmer until pasta is al dente.

Stir in cream and Parmesan cheese, simmer until the sauce thickens.

Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan and parsley.
