- 8 oz penne or rotini pasta
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cups vegetable or chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil or butter in a large pot, sauté minced garlic for 1-2 minutes.
- Add pasta and broth, bring to boil, reduce to simmer.
- Stir in broccoli halfway through pasta cooking.
- Once pasta is tender, mix in cream and Parmesan.
- Season with salt and pepper, serve warm.
