Ingredients

  • ¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 6 oz cream cheese (filling)
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla. Scoop and freeze filling.
  3. Beat butter and sugar. Add egg and vanilla.
  4. Combine dry ingredients. Mix into wet.
  5. Stir brown sugar, cinnamon, and melted butter for swirl.
  6. Flatten dough, fill with frozen cream cheese ball, seal and shape.
  7. Add cinnamon swirl on top.
  8. Bake 11–13 minutes. Cool before serving.
