- 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuits
- 1 lb pork breakfast sausage
- 6 large eggs
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13-inch dish.
- Cut biscuits into quarters and layer in dish.
- Brown sausage in skillet, then remove and drain.
- In the same skillet, melt butter, whisk in flour, and slowly add milk to make gravy.
- Stir in cooked sausage. Pour gravy over biscuit layer.
- Whisk eggs and pour over casserole.
- Sprinkle cheese if desired.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until center is set.
- Let cool 10 minutes before slicing.
