Baked Apple Fritters That Taste Like Fall in Every Bite

  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup diced apples (peeled)
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 12 tbsp milk (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line baking sheet.
  2. Mix dry ingredients in one bowl.
  3. Whisk egg, sugar, milk, and vanilla in another.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Fold in apples.
  5. Scoop onto tray, bake 22–25 min.
  6. Drizzle glaze over warm fritters.
