  • For the Spiced Buttercream Frosting: 1/2 cup softened dairy-free butter, 1-2 tbsp water, milk or more apple cider, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, pinch of nutmeg, 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tin with liners.
  2. In one bowl, mix together oat flour, baking powder, salt, and spices. In another bowl, whisk melted oil or butter with brown sugar, applesauce, apple cider, vanilla extract, and eggs.
  3. Combine the dry and wet ingredients until just mixed; avoid overmixing.
